Live output readiness
Know what Immigration Oasis can prepare
Immigration Oasis is moving toward AI-completed immigration forms wherever safely supported. This page explains our labels so users understand when they are getting an official draft PDF, a printable preparation draft, a portal worksheet, or a review-first file.
Output readiness labels
- Official PDF draft supported — only for verified forms after official PDF mapping and manual QA.
- Printable AI preparation draft/checklist — AI organizes answers and instructions, but official PDF release remains gated.
- Government portal worksheet — DS/NVC/agency answers are organized for the user to enter in the government portal.
- Starter/review file — used when facts are risky, uncertain, unsupported, or need human/attorney review first.

Each official PDF needs field mapping, sample data, staff test packet, visual QA, current edition verification, and owner approval before broad public delivery.
Readiness matrix
The live API at /api/forms/output-readiness-matrix returns the current readiness state used by staff QA and public copy. This protects users from thinking every path already produces a completed government PDF.
| Current level | Used for | User instruction |
|---|---|---|
| Official PDF draft supported | Verified mapped forms only | Review every page, sign by hand where required, and verify filing rules. |
| Printable preparation draft/checklist | Common guided USCIS paths while official PDFs are gated | Use it to review answers, assemble evidence, and complete/review the final government filing. |
| Portal worksheet | DS-160, DS-260, DS-261, NVC, consular, EOIR, and other portal paths | Use the worksheet while entering answers in the official government/agency system. |
| Starter/review file | Risk, deadline, court, waiver, uncertain eligibility, or unsupported final-output paths | Do not file yet; review is needed before final forms are treated as ready. |
Important: USCIS forms are free. Immigration Oasis is a private immigration support platform, not the government and not a law firm. Government fees are separate. Users remain responsible for reviewing, signing, and deciding what to file. No approval or immigration result is guaranteed.
