Immigration Oasis is designed to make immigration preparation information easier to use with keyboards, screen readers, zoom, mobile devices, and English or Spanish controls.
How the site is designed
- A skip link and semantic headings support keyboard and screen-reader navigation.
- Visible focus, readable contrast, and responsive layouts support keyboard, zoom, and mobile use.
- Status and instructions are written in text and are not communicated by color alone.
- Public pages provide English and Spanish controls; the English version controls government-filing details.
Need another format or found a barrier?
Tell us which page or task caused difficulty, what device or assistive technology you used, and the format or correction that would help. Do not include immigration documents, identification numbers, passwords, or confidential case facts in an accessibility report.
Important limitation
Automated source checks do not replace testing with people who use assistive technology. Physical-device and assistive-technology acceptance remains a separate verification step.
