Review checks before materials are ready

Confirm the beneficiary is within the Public Law 97-359 Amerasian scope and that I-361 is being used in support of Form I-360.
Confirm the sponsor is a U.S. citizen or lawful permanent resident, 21 or older, and understands the financial-support period and 125 percent poverty-line support requirement.
Confirm legal custody/placement responsibilities and the 30-day court-petition requirement where applicable.
Do not sign the oath portion until before the required USCIS or consular officer.
